Heritage I

A unique fusion of abstract art and Ukrainian heritage, my embroidery on canvas blends acrylic painting with hand-stitched, layered rope to create textured floral compositions. Using a needle and thread, I intricately stitch 24K gold-painted rope onto the canvas, forming the stems of poppy flowers and grain—symbols of Ukraine’s vast, golden fields. This technique bridges tradition and modernity, adding depth and dimension to each piece, where embroidery meets fine art in a tactile and visually striking way.
